Every child that sees me, whether they are in literacy groups or one on one, has a colored plastic folder. This folder comes home each night. Please see that your child reads to someone each night of the week. Practice will make perfect.

Once you have read the story discuss it with your child. You can have them retell the story to you or discuss the characters, setting, problem, or solution in that story.
